Shanghai Street and Town Football Super League Changning District Qualifying Tournament Kicked Off

The opening ceremony of the 2026 Shanghai Street and Town Football Super League Changning District Qualifying Tournament was held at Yan'an High School on July 18.
During the performance segment, the Shanghai Fitness and Bodybuilding Association team presented an energetic aerobics show, combining strength and dynamism; the Yan'an Middle School cheerleading team ignited the atmosphere with their youthful dance moves; and young football players from the district's youth sports school offered a fun football skills demonstration.
This preliminary round in Changning brought together football teams from all 10 subdistricts and towns in Changning.
The Changning Youth Sports School Women's Football Team and the Changning Men's Team engaged in a thrilling friendly match.
Changning District will continue to leverage the football tournament as a starting point to continue promoting the series of activities of the 4th Changning National Sports Season. Through various measures such as offering fitness vouchers and sports themed bazaars, sports activities will be integrated into neighborhood communities and everyday life.
In early August, Changning District will launch the “National Fitness Day" and the 4th Changning National Sports Season. The opening ceremony of this year's sports season will be held at Raffles City Changning, featuring a variety of activities including an urban orienteering competition, a sports interactive carnival, a sports themed bazaar, group fitness performances. The sports season will run until October, during which more than 50 competitions will be held throughout the district, and 88 free fitness courses will be offered, covering diverse scenarios such as communities, industrial parks, and commercial districts.
