On September 4, Changning District and Shanghai State-owned Investment Capital Investment Co held a symposium to discuss topics including serving the implementation of national strategies, deepening the integration of industry and finance, and promoting talent exchange.
Yuan Guohua, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shanghai State-owned Investment Capital Investment Co, and president Dai Minmin, met wth Kong Fu'an, Party Secretary of the Changning District Committee, and Liu Ping, Deputy Party Secretary of the Changning District Committee and directof of Changning District, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.
Shanghai State-owned Capital Investment Co is one of the three major professional platforms for state-owned capital investment and operation in Shanghai. Positioned as a "fund management + innovation incubation" platform, the company undertakes responsibilities such as serving the overall reform of state-owned assets and enterprises in Shanghai, optimizing the layout of state-owned capital, improving the efficiency of state-owned capital operation, realizing the preservation and appreciation of state-owned assets, and assisting in state-owned asset supervision. In recent years, it has achieved remarkable investment performance, building an innovation-driven and industry-incubating investment platform, and playing a significant role in cultivating and leveraging three leading and future industries.
On behalf of the Changning District Committee and the district government, Kong Fu'an expressed gratitude to Shanghai State-owned Investment Corporation for its long-term strong support for Changning's development.
Kong stated that Changning, as the core of Shanghai's western wing, a gateway to the Yangtze River Delta, and a bridgehead connecting domestic and international markets, will fully leverage its locational advantages and continue to cultivate its unique characteristics of "Hongqiao origin, international standard, digital intelligence, and high-quality development," striving to transform from a major digital economy district to a strong digital economy district, from a transportation hub to an open and integrated hub, and from a livable and business-friendly community to a high-quality living paradise and a hotbed for innovation and entrepreneurship.
He expressed hope that both sides would form comprehensive cooperation in serving technology companies, developing technology finance, supporting companies going global, talent exchange and cooperation, and capital operation, jointly contributing to the construction of Shanghai's "five centers."
Yuan Guohua expressed his gratitude to Changning District for its continued care and support for Shanghai State-owned Capital Investment Co. Yuan stated that the company will stay in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, leverage its strategic and long-term capital capabilities to serve the overall development of Shanghai's international science and technology innovation center, and deepen collaborative cooperation with Changning District.
This includes linking leading technology companies with financial industry resources to jointly establish a CVC fund; utilizing the advantages of an internationalized urban area to jointly build a one-stop overseas service platform to help technology companies go global; improving the talent exchange mechanism to promote two-way interaction between cadres and talents from both sides; and establishing a state-owned capital operation platform to serve the reform of state-owned assets and enterprises.
He expects that both sides, with a regular communication mechanism as a guarantee and a list of cooperation contents as a starting point, will promote in-depth and practical cooperation, achieving mutual benefit and win-win results through mutual efforts.
