Following the opening of the basketball and badminton hall, a new comprehensive training hall was recently also opened at the IBP Hongqiao Shangcheng Cultural and Sports Center.
The 3,000-square-meter space is equipped with more than 100 pieces of equipment, as well as a female-only training area, a 60-meter comprehensive training track, providing another great place for office workers and residents in the surrounding area to exercise.
The basement is bright and well-lit, thanks to IBP Hongqiao Shangcheng's "Rhythmic Oasis" design concept—integrating natural landscapes into daily life.
The comprehensive training hall faces a sunken courtyard, with colorful flowers and lush greenery. The interior space is equally open and airy, with high ceilings, making one feel as if surrounded by greenery.
The public training area and the female-only training area are located on either side of the corridor. The female-only training area is particularly eye-catching—the purple lighting is very cool, and it is fully equipped with equipment for strength training, glute and leg training, and body shaping, all customized to meet the needs of women. There is also an open space in the area where Zumba and lower body shaping classes are held regularly.
A total of over 100 machines are hosted in the public training area, which consists of the fixed equipment area, free weights area, cardio area, and functional training area.
The free weights area is suitable for fitness enthusiasts with some training experience. It is fully equipped with dumbbells, barbells and other equipment, as well as less common vertical leg press machines and bent-over rowing machines, allowing you to fully utilize your abilities.
In the aerobic area, more than 30 aerobic machines, including treadmills and elliptical trainers, are lined up in a row, providing ample space. While exercising, one can enjoy the view of a bamboo grove, appreciating the greenery outside the window while working out – a win-win situation for both physical fitness and mental well-being.
The functional training area is a highlight of the entire venue: a 60-meter-long comprehensive training track, combined with a full-equipment training area, which can carry out various specialized sports and physical training.
In terms of supporting facilities, it is fully equipped with a rest area, storage area, and washroom. The shower room is set up separately and adopts a dry and wet separation design.
In terms of public transportation, the venue connects with the HQ Tianhui and the subway station via the Beidi Road underground passage. Visitors can also drive to IBP Hongqiao Shangcheng and take the elevator directly from the underground parking garage to the comprehensive training hall; parking is currently free.
