3 more join the club of headquarters

Three more multinationals established their regional headquarters in Changning on June 15. Hence, Changning is home to 118 regional headquarters, trade headquarters, R&D centers of multinational corporations and national headquarters of domestic private enterprises.

The three new members of the club are DSV International Logistics Shanghai, Chori (China) Co, Ltd and Takisada-Osaka Trading (Shanghai) Co, Ltd.

During the 14th Five Year Plan period (2021-2025), Changning will accelerate the action of “headquarters functional enhancement,” provide stronger support for the development of headquarters economy, and improve the “cultivation,” “functional enhancement” and “upgrading” of foreign-funded headquarters.

In the next stage, Changning will vigorously promote the development of private headquarters enterprises, take multiple measures to attract the Asia-Pacific headquarters and functional global headquarters of multinational companies, encourage foreign investment to set up and develop global R&D centers and open innovation platforms, and further improve the global resource allocation capacity.

Changning has issued a number of preferential policies to support the upgrading of the functional level of the headquarters economy, making every effort to realize the vision for enterprises, and unswervingly promote the “deep transformation” of regional industrial structure.

Changning also implemented the “headquarters functional enhancement” plan last September, established the round table system of regional headquarters of multinational corporations, and accelerated the “double improvement” of the number and quality of headquarters enterprises.
